These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of QRStandard, operated by Contenza K/S ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
QRStandard provides dynamic QR code infrastructure: creation, redirect management, scan analytics, and audit trail services. The service is provided on a subscription basis with a limited free tier.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with 30 days' notice to registered users. We will not remove functionality that your active subscription depends on without giving you a full subscription credit or refund for the unused period.
You may use QRStandard only for lawful purposes. You may not use the service to:
Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund. We will notify you of the reason unless doing so would compromise security investigations.
Access to QRStandard is authenticated via magic links sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping your email address secure and for all actions taken from your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately via our contact form.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. Prices are displayed in EUR excluding VAT. VAT is added at checkout based on your billing country in accordance with EU VAT rules.
Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from your billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for mid-period cancellations, except where required by law.
If a payment fails, we will retry for up to 7 days. During this period your account remains active. After 7 days of non-payment, access to paid features is suspended until payment is resolved. Your QR codes and redirect data are retained for 90 days after suspension, then permanently deleted.
The free tier permits up to 3 active dynamic QR codes. Free tier codes are not subject to an expiry date and will remain functional as long as your account is active. We reserve the right to adjust free tier limits with 60 days' notice.
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. For GDPR and data processing details, see the GDPR & Data Processing page. By using the service, you agree to the processing of your data as described in those documents.
You retain ownership of all QR code content, destination URLs, and data you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process this data solely to provide the service.
We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the QR code redirect service (the critical path). Planned maintenance is performed outside peak EU business hours and announced in advance. We do not provide formal SLA guarantees on the free tier.
In the event of an outage affecting paid subscribers, we will apply account credits equivalent to the outage duration prorated against the monthly subscription cost, for outages exceeding 1 hour.
QRStandard, its software, design, and documentation are owned by Contenza K/S. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the service without written permission. The QR codes you generate are yours — we claim no intellectual property rights over them.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Contenza K/S is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost revenue from QR code downtime. Our total liability to you for direct damages shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
These Terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Denmark. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
We will notify registered users of material changes to these Terms by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
