EU Deforestation Regulation — EUDR 2023/1115

Who it affects

Operators placing cattle, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, soya, wood, and rubber products (and their derivatives) on or exporting them from the EU market.

What it requires

Due diligence statements with geolocation coordinates of commodity origin must be submitted to the EU TRACES-NT system before placing covered commodities on the market. Each submission receives a unique reference number. Operators must document that sourced land was not deforested after December 31, 2020.
